I will be posting dates and times for my public appearances on the Facebook group and on this site as well.  No venue is too small and no Central Iowa location is off limits!  If you have a line on a possible venue for me to do an appearance, let me hear it!  Bars, restaurants, libraries, movie theaters, book clubs or even a private get together at your home will be considered.  I want to make this book a "big one" and I can't do it without your help and support.  Hit me up at kameron@kamwritesbooks.com if you have some ideas for me.

With Gratitude,

Kameron Sawtelle.

The Tragedy of a Friday Night in April is the story of one day in the life of 18 year old Winston Quick.

Winston is a senior in high school who is struggling with the fact that growing up is inevitable.  With just a few short weeks until his high school graduation, Winston is beginning to question everything that he knows.  His punk rock rhetoric and views are starting to feel old.

To add to the confusion, he has just met the girl of his dreams.  She is challenging his ideas and ideals and making him see himself in a new light.  A daring public act of defiance has made him the target of a violent group of peers.  After a falling out with his mother, he is left homeless.  Even the group of friends that he considers to be his family may be turning against him.

With his life spinning out of control, Winston must find out who he really is and where he will go from here.  This Friday night will be a defining or redefining moment in the teen's life.  Now the only question is, which path will he choose?

Action, romance and humor abound in this work that will take you back to the Spring of 1999.  Prepare for a wild ride in this tale of an eventful night.
